UV Filter

Our Ultraviolet Filter protects your lens from scratches, dirt and water. And by cutting out UV haze, it makes your images clearer and sharper.

UV light can create a blue colour cast, but our UV Filter cuts out 99.6% of ultraviolet light, helping sharpen your images, especially in hazy conditions.

Keep our UV Filter on your lens at all times without affecting your exposure settings. If you drop your camera, our UV Filter may be the difference between replacing a filter and replacing a lens.

Our consciously designed ultra-slim rim avoids vignetting and our durable magnalium is guaranteed for life.	All our filters are double-threaded for stacking filters or using screw-mount lens caps.

How to use

Find your filter size
Inquisitively search lens for diameter symbol. Ø often marks the spot. The diameter you seek may be accompanied by a number – Ø58 or Ø58mm. Look to the side and the front – this precious number is your filter size. Be warned: your lens focal length (e.g. 18-55mm) is not your filter size.

Place flat screw clockwise
Carefully behold lens in one hand and place filter flat on lens. Gently screw clockwise until just firm. Do not over-tighten that which goes on must one day come off.

Shoot as usual
Our UV Filter doesnt affect exposure settings so you can boldly shoot wherever your heart desires, safe in the knowledge your lens is now better protected against the elements and UV haze isnt an issue.

Loosen up
To keep ones heart young and lens filter safe, we recommend you loosen up now and then. Gently loosen then retighten your filter to avoid any sticky situations.
